Land transfers - on their own or as part of an estate

Cairns Law handles transfers of land whether you're transferring a property individually  - adding or removing someone from title, transferring to a family member - or as part of administering an estate, where the property must first be transmitted to the personal representative before it can be transferred to a beneficiary or sold.

One of the first questions clients ask us is "how much will this cost?" Fair question. The Alberta Land Titles Office charges government registration fees based on the value of the property, and they're separate from legal fees (i.e. our fees for services provided).
