ESTATE ADMINISTRATION FOR DECEASED ESTATES

Practical
support for one
of life's more demanding responsibilities.

When someone passes away, their estate needs to be administered properly. We guide you through the process.
Estate administration involves gathering information about the deceased individual and the personal representative, applying for a grant if required, notifying beneficiaries, and ultimately transferring or distributing assets. Every estate is different. We take the time to understand yours.
OUR APPROACH TO FEES

We don't charge
based on the value of the
estate.

Our fees are flat and based on the complexity and risk involved, not on what the estate is worth.

You'll receive a quote before any work begins. Add-on services are clearly outlined in advance of conducting work so there are no surprises.

Note: quotes are provided following an initial consultation once we understand the scope of the estate.

Consults and other estate services are typically paid by (or reimbursed from) the funds in the deceased's estate, and not the personal representative / trustee.

HOW IT WORKS

A clear process from start to finish.

01

Initial consultation

We talk through the estate: who the deceased individual was, what they owned, who they owed (if any), and what you're dealing with. You don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out.

02

Quote and scope

We provide a flat-fee quote based on what's involved. You'll know the cost and the scope before anything begins.

03

Legal administration

We handle the legal work which includes gathering information, and may include preparing applications, notifying parties, and managing the process from grant to distribution.

04

Closure to the estate

We provide closing advice and documentation so the estate is properly wound up and you can move forward with peace.

Estate administration is part of the last chapter of life.

Ordinary things may remain after someone is gone, like the house, the accounts, the papers. We help you tend to them, one by one, until the work is complete.

Estate administration tells a story and is rarely just paperwork. It's often the last administrative act in someone's life  and it deserves to be handled with care. We're here to make sure it is.
